Sonoma Design Apparel & Promotions, Inc. offers alternative ways to decorate your garments. Although we do embroidery and screenprinting, sometimes other techniques may work better for your project. Sonoma Design Apparel & Promotions also performs garment-decorating techniques such as Embossing, Debossing,
Flextran, Inline Foil, and Rhinestones & Brads.
Embossing
With the use of heat and pressure, logos are impressed, or embossed, into your garment or fabric. This technique can be used on denim, fleece, T-shirts, leather, bags, and appliqués that can be sewn onto garments or caps.

Debossing
Deboss is the reverse of embossing. The logo is raised due to the heat and pressure applied around the logo. This technique can be applied to all the same garments as embossing.
Flextran
Flextran is a new and exciting 3-D process created by Ralph Keehn and his partners. This process is one of the newest technologies for applying a logo to a garment. Using molds, this process adheres single and multi-color logos with a depth of .25”. This process works on all garments, bags, and caps. If you are looking for the newest and most innovative way to put your logo onto a garment, Flextran may be what you are looking for. You can work directly with the creator of this product. It does not get any better than that.
Inline Foil
In-line foil printing is the process of printing designs on garments using plastisol inks in combination with foil stamping. With our unique registration process combined with our expertise in artwork using foil printing, Sonoma Design Apparel creates some of the most beautiful designs seen on T-Shirts and other garments.
We have designed and printed in-line foil designs on t-shirts for the Girl Scouts, Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, numerous wineries, and corporations.
Rhinestones & Brads
With the use of various sizes of rhinestones, beautiful and sparkling designs are created. The rhinestones have an adhesive backing that, when heat and pressure are applied they are permanently set to the garment. Rhinestones are great for simple designs on dark garments.
Brads are applied to garments in the same process as rhinestones. Brads offer a completely different look. Brads are available in gold and silver colors and look exactly like metal brads adhered to the garment.
