Tim is a native of Sonoma County born in Santa Rosa,
CA. Although having lived in other parts of California, Tim has resided in Sonoma County the past 32 years.
In 1971, Tim started working for his father in their family business, Nor Cal Supply Co., when he was 14. Over the next 14 year, Tim worked his way up to running the business in 1985. In 1982, Tim’s father started a screen printing company, Keehn Scenes, Inc., which operated along with Nor Cal Supply Co. While running Nor Cal, Tim also worked with Keehn Scenes, Inc. in purchasing and production. In 1989, Tim left the family business and bought and operated a local grocery store. In 1996, he sold the grocery store and started Sew Be It Embroidery. Sew Be It started out with no employees and a 12-head embroidery machine. Over the next 7 years, Sew Be It grew to employing 8 employees and 5 embroidery machines with a total of 34 sewing heads. In 2003, Tim teamed up with Eddie from North Coast Clothing to form their new company Sonoma Design Apparel & Promotions, Inc.
Sonoma Design Apparel & Promotions, Inc. produces some of the most beautiful artwork on garments in the industry using their specialty techniques such as
Inline Foil Printing and Flextran along with
Embroidery and Screen
Printing.
A family man as well as a businessman, Tim and his wife Aida, a 3rd grade school teacher, are raising their
two children in Santa Rosa. Tim’s two passions in life are spending time with his family and friends and golfing. |
